Yesterday was all about spring fashion and today I’m sharing my favorite nail colors for spring! If you know me well, you know I NEVER don’t have my nails painted. While most days I’m rocking some variety of pale pink, I also like to have fun with my manicures and go bright every now and again. In fact, I’m currently wearing my new favorite color – which I’ll get to below.
Before we jump into my favorite nail colors for spring, I’ll remind you I’m v into dip nails now and do my own at home. So, some of these colors are dip powders – you can either purchase them for yourself or ask your salon about them when you go in. If you’re feeling adventurous too, here are the liquids I use for my at home manis. I’m also totally nerding out and getting one of these to keep track of my colors since the powders are a slightly different shade than what appears on your nails.
Hopefully in the next month or so I’ll get around to creating a tutorial for how do to your own dip manicures! Until then, here are nail colors for spring – both dip powders and traditional polish!
Nail Colors for Spring 2019
Like I mentioned, I have a new favorite color! It’s this bright (verging on neon) coral color that I can’t get enough of. It’s also a color I will only wear in the spring / summer or when on vacation so I’m getting my use out of it now.
This muted baby blue from OPI’s Spring 2019 collection is fun and trendy without being too much.
3. Sugarette by Smith and Cult
I love a good white polish in both the summer and winter, but not so much in the spring for some reason. That said, this one has just a hint of moody gray and shimmer which I think is perfect to go along with those April showers.
An oldie but goodie I’m loving for spring is this light lilac polish from Essie. If anyone knows a dip color that’s similar, send a link my way!
Oh man, y’all. I’m not sure I can say I’d personally rock bright yellow polish, but the color is SO in this season, and I definitely think the right person could pull it off. What do you think – will you give it a go?
Another from OPI’s Spring 2019 collection is this gorgeous mauvy pink. I love that it’s more than a blush, but still subtle and feminine.
This coral shade is less intense than Revel’s Royal and comes with a touch of iridescence which I love. I could see wearing this one into summer too!
8. Radiate by Deborah Lippmann
Toning down all these brights with a shimmery neutral from Deborah Lippmann. I’ve still never tried her polish, but I do love the shades! This one is a new release from her Spring 2019 line.
SNS recently launched their Blooming Meadow collection and it has all the oranges and reds! I think this one is my fav – not quite a nod to Living Coral, but close.
Another oldie, this OPI shade is a go to in the spring because it’s simply classic, year after year. For when you just need a good pale pink!
Okay, so there’s my list. What are your favorite nail colors for spring?
