Another week, another “got caught up with day job and life” excuse for not blogging regularly. Luckily for my productivity, this polar vortex that hit Chicago yesterday has pretty much made me homebound. Umm, feels like -49 degrees, yeah, no, I’m not going anywhere.

Himalayan Salt Candle Holder
When I was in Florida last week, my cousin and I found this awesome crystals guy and went a little nuts. My favorite purchase is a Himalayan salt candle holder for my desk. The color goes well with my décor and looks so great all lit up. Here’s one that’s similar.
A Million Little Things
As part of my 2019 Bucket List, I decided to watch a show that was outside of what I would normally pick to watch. Enter Downton Abbey, which – unpopular opinion – I could barely tolerate. I picked this one up right after as a sort of palette cleanser and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s adorable and has drama without being too suspenseful. Plus, it’s not as tear-jerky as advertised, which I was worried about. If you’re looking for a new show, I say skip Downton and give this one a go!
Rituel De Fille Eye Soot
One of my favorite bloggers to follow, Emily Schuman, shares tons of great beauty and fashion finds in her Instagram stories. Earlier this week, she shared this eye soot in a beauty tutorial and I absolutely love the way it looks on. Darker pink than in the pictures and a slight iridescent shimmer. At $38, I have not yet made this purchase, but will save it for when I need a reason to treat myself!
Celestial Jewelry
Everywhere I look, it seems I’m finding so much celestial jewelry. Much of what I’m finding is dainty and small, but I also totally love these chunky starburst earrings. Other favs include this necklace, this necklace, and these earrings – all under $20!!
Valentine’s Day Cards
I love sending snail mail, but always seem too busy around the Christmas holiday to get my act together to send cards. This year, I decided to send Valentines instead and I couldn’t be more excited to send lots of love notes. I won’t share the ones I wound up ordering until after they’re out, but I loved these (from a Chicago artist), these, and these.
