Happy Monday, friends! I’m back from a holiday hiatus and if there’s one thing I learned the week after Thanksgiving, it’s that while I’m spending time with family, I’m not at all focused on the blog. I guess that’s both good and bad, but I enjoyed some much-needed time in the sun and shopping, and plan to do the same in a few weeks for Christmas.
A couple weeks ago, I talked about my love for Black Friday. And 2018 didn’t disappoint! Some of the things I bought on sale aren’t on sale anymore, but some are, and others are totally worth full price. 😉

1. Clarisonic Mia 2
I originally had a different facial cleanser in mind to purchase this season, but found such an amazing deal on the Clarisonic Mia 2, I just couldn’t pass it up. I’ve been using it for the past week and so far, I love it!
2. Knotted Headband
One thing I noticed while shopping is that bows and headbands are making a major comeback. I got this gorgeous chiffon headband from Anthro and have already worn it to a holiday party. Tons of colors to choose from and they’re currently still on sale!
3. Navy Lace Top
I found a number of things at Lilly last week that were surprisingly appropriate to wear in cold, dreary Chicago. This top is dressy enough to wear for a night out but casual enough to pair with jeans!
4. Lavender Cowl Neck Sweater
Grabbed this cozy casual sweater at the Banana Republic Factory Store and it’s still on a great discount!
5. Plaid Ruffled Scarf
This has already become my new favorite scarf! It’s perfect because it, of course, worked wrapped, but also hangs great as a shall in the chilly office.
6. Return Address Stamp
I’ve been wanting a return address stamp for years but always held off because apartment life seems to have me moving frequently. This year, though, I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I got the self-inking kind and can’t wait to send some holiday snail mail when it comes in!
7. Gold Adjustable Bracelet
This one only sort of counts because my mom got this for me for Christmas while we were shopping. I love that this is adjustable and so dainty.
8. Sheer Plaid Blouse
Got this gorgeous sheer plaid blouse at Target of all places. So while it’s not on sale – and wasn’t on Black Friday either – with a $23 price tag, it’s not going to break the bank either way.
9. Rainbow Moonstone Ring
Possibly my favorite purchase of the day is this unique rainbow moonstone ring. It’s by a designer I love and matches my favorite necklace (by the same designer). And, bonus, it’s still on sale as well!
