What a week it’s been! I was so honored to host some of my friends from Instagram at J9 Wine Bar on Tuesday night for a champagne tasting and tomorrow I leave for a bachelorette party cruise! Later today I’m headed back to XSport for my second LED facial treatment. So much going on, but so many things I love too. Here we go …

Essie Tinted Love Polish
My nail salon supply story I talked about a few weeks ago had this gorgeous Essie shade that I just had to try. It’s called Tinted Love and it’s part of their strengthening polish line. TBD if it actually strengthens or not, but regardless, it’s just the best color! It’s like a sheer nude / light beige but with rose gold shimmer in it. It’s a great year-round shade that I’m sure I’ll be rocking all fall!
Nike Running Shoes
Hi, I’m Claire. I’m 31 years old and have never owned a pair of Nike shoes. Until now!! In the past, Nike shoes just simply haven’t fit my feet right. Since I love to run, it’s important to me to have a shoe that is a. built for running, and b. fits perfectly.
I went to the running store for a new pair of tennies and first thing I said to the sales lady “whatever you do, don’t bring me any Nikes – they don’t fit my feet.” She did anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. Oddly, I could only find the color I got on this website I’ve never heard of, but if you’re a runner, the style is Vomero and they feel great!
Flower Crown Skull Print
Speaking of home décor, I just got this new art print for my entryway and I’m absolutely obsessed. My friends always tease me because I claim to love skulls (I really do!) but they never see me buy anything skull. But, I’ve been eyeing this design from Barbra Ignatiev on Instagram for a while now and she FINALLY made it into a print! I literally ordered it the day she announced it. Now I just need a frame …
Buffalo Check Bedding
When I was in Colorado, my mom and I went down a home decorating black hole and I came out of it with a desire to replace my floral bed spread with black and white buffalo check. Hello, opposites! Truth be known, I’d probably only leave it on my bed for a few months a year, so I’m looking for a great budget version of this one I love from Ballard Designs. Unfortunately, most of what I found was pretty cheap looking, but I did find these inexpensive throw pillow covers that might be a good way to test out if I like the print in my life enough to splurge for the original.
Balega Socks
I heard about Balega socks from a few runner friends, but had never tried them. They had a pair at the running store that uses a silver thread that is an antimicrobial to help fight shoe odor. I decided to give them a try and my first run went great! They are heavily cushioned and have lots of support for the high arch girls like me.
