You Glow Girl! A Highlighter Stick is my Makeup MVP

I’ve written before about my favorite makeup products that I go back to over and over again. But today, I want to share a new-ish product to my lineup that makes such a huge impact! It’s the highlighter stick – and you don’t need an expensive one. In fact, mine is under $10!

If you’ve been following along, I wrote about buying this guy back in February and said I would report back. While it’s taken me some time to actually write this, I’ve been using my highlighter stick almost every day for a brighter, more-awake look. Because, let’s face it, when was the last time you got 8 hours of sleep??

How to use a Highlighter Stick

Y’all, I am not a morning person. The latest possible time I can wake up to be five minutes late, is the time I roll out of bed. I’m not about adding another piece to the makeup routine and likely why I’ve never worn real foundation – only tinted moisturizer. The highlighter stick is so easy to apply, though, and takes barely any time.

It’s the last product I use as a finishing touch. After my makeup is in place, I swipe it just above my cheek bones, right below my eyebrows, down the middle of my nose, and most importantly, on the inside corner of my eyes. For the cheeks and nose, I apply the highlighter stick directly. Under my brows and in the corner of my eyes, I rub a little of the product on my ring finger and apply by dabbing lightly.
