It’s Thursday – getting close to the end of the week and do you want to know what I’ve accomplished? Well, I went to the gym twice, that was a win. The rest has pretty much consisted of my day job and Netflix. And somehow, I’m at peace with that. Blogging has continued to be my creative outlet, so here are some things I love this week.
In The Moment: Things I Love on March 22, 2018
1. Oversized Earrings | 2. Lilly for Pottery Barn | 3. Barrio Chicago | 4. Keds x Rifle Paper Co. | 5. Watermelon Tourmaline
Oversized Earrings
I’m digging oversized earrings lately. Who cares if I’m rocking rhinestones and tassels at the office? I love the ones in the photo collage above from Nordstrom, but they’re a bit out of my price range. Earlier today I was on Etsy and found this amazing shop of costume jewelry and many of their earrings are $12 / pair! Yay! Some of my favorites are these, these, and these.
Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn
I’m pretty sure I got links to this collaboration from 3 or 4 different people and I can’t get over it! It’s totally unrealistic for my Chicago apartment, but who wouldn’t want this neon-upholstered chair? I love their stuff for PB Teen too, because I’m not actually 30 years old …
Barrio
A few friends and I checked out this new-ish Chicago spot for St. Patrick’s Day brunch. Breakfast tacos? Yes, please. Bottomless mimosas? We’ll take those too. Plus, the atmosphere is lively and the décor is totally Instagrammable. Not that I’ve posted on Instagram all week … Regardless, it was the perfect backdrop for a fab party day!
Keds x Rifle Paper Co.
How could I forget to include these in my spring style finds? I’ve been eyeing them for a while, but worry about what I would actually wear them with. Even if I don’t buy them, they’re still pretty to look at!
Watermelon Tourmaline
Okay, this has probably been around forever, but I just recently saw a jewelry designer share a photo of this magical stone called watermelon tourmaline. It transitions in color from green to pink, so what’s not to love? There are so many great designs on Etsy, but I love this emerald cut necklace with a gold bezel.

There’s an emerald cut watermelon tourmaline ring from a designer that I’ve been swooning over for forever. it’s like $4,000 or something like that? So yeah….that’s not happening. That necklace is beautiful! Also that chair……yes please!

I’m with you on the watermelon tourmaline price tag! I’ll have to swoon from afar! 😂
