It’s been a quiet, relatively normal week for a change over in Bumble and Bustle land. Was feeling a bit under the weather, but have bounced back nicely – more on this below! A few nights of cooking at home and relaxing – just what I needed, sick or not. Without further ado, here are the things I love this week.
In The Moment: Things I Love on March 15, 2018
1. Insights Timer Meditation App | 2. Medicine Ball | 3. Turquoise Knife Set | 4. Virtu | 5. UnREAL
Insights Timer
I asked in Instagram stories this week for recommended meditation apps. Y’all delivered! I downloaded Insights Timer – it’s free as are the guided meditation recordings in it – and have been meditating every night before bed this week. There’s one specific recording I love – Mindfulness for Releasing Anxiety by Glenn Harrold. I hope I can make this meditation thing a real habit.
Medicine Ball from Starbucks
Earlier this week I felt a cold coming on and I remembered hearing about a miracle cold cure from Starbucks. I Googled it and sure enough, there’s a secret-menu drink called a medicine ball. It’s truly awful and packed with sugar, but the next day I was feeling much better, so I’m going to count it as a win.
Turquoise Knife Set
Does anyone else get sucked into Amazon’s New and Interesting Finds section? Tell me I’m not the only one. Today I found this amazing knife set that matches my kitchen perfectly. I’m sure the quality isn’t great, but I barely ever cook anyway. Regardless, this set may make it onto my birthday list in June!
Virtu
My cousin and I found the cutest boutique on Damen in Bucktown this weekend! The owner has the best taste – I wanted to buy everything in the store. So much Snow & Graham! If you’re in Chicago you should check it out. If not, you can always shop online. 😉
UnREAL
UnREAL is back for season 3 and so far, I’m loving the girl power and drama just as much as the last seasons! If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a scripted show about behind-the-scenes production of a reality show eerily similar to The Bachelor. It’s on Lifetime and comes with some dark and twisty plot lines. If you’re looking for a new show to binge, give it a go!
