HQ Trivia
Am I late to the HQ trivia party?? I just found out about it on Tuesday and I think it’s so fun! If this is the first you’re hearing of HQ, it’s a live trivia game show via app that happens twice a day – at 2 and 8 p.m. CT. Twelve questions and you get booted from the game when you get one wrong. Today 900,000 people starting the game and only 400 some answered all of the questions right. It’s only been one day, but I’m definitely hooked!
Honeycomb Notecards
After sending out thank-you notes to some awesome makers who helped with my blog launch, I’m finding myself short on stationery. If you know me, you know this is unacceptable and I’m currently on a hunt for something that speaks to me. I found these adorable honeycomb thank-yous that are a nice, subtle nod to the Bumble side of Bumble and Bustle. There are so many cute designs in the designer’s shop too!
Heart Shaped Cookies
I don’t get into the whole Valentine’s Day thing, but I do love anything girlie – and this is about as girlie as holidays get. Pink, red, hearts, scalloped edges. I just love it! I keep seeing the cutest heart-shaped and decorated cookies on Pinterest and wish I had any sort of talent in the kitchen. Instead, I’ll just ogle these from Hot Beauty Health.
Floriole, Lincoln Park
New favorite coffee shop! Okay, confession, I don’t even like coffee. But I do love tea and croissants and any cute place to plug my laptop in and work in a different atmosphere for a few hours. I met up with another Chicago Instagrammer and general girl boss there on Sunday and fell instantly in love. If you’re local, be sure to check it out!
Essie Nail Color – Madison Ave-Hue
This week I ditched my normal beige / pale pink for this Barbie-pink shade with just a touch of sparkle to it. The color is by Essie – Madison Ave-Hue – and it normally sits at the bottom of my nail polish collection untouched. The funniest part is my coworker in Denver randomly picked the same color to pull out of the archives this week. So, now I have a cross-country nail twin to boot!
