Okay, friends. Doing a little Things I Love takeover today to bring you my favorite finds of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. In case you’ve been living under a rock, you know the sale opens to the public tomorrow! So even if you missed cardholder early access, there are still great finds available.
To get this list, I browsed all 34 pages of 2,399 women’s clothing pieces – and that’s not counting shoes and accessories. It was a hardship. You’re welcome. 😉
1. Sub_Urban Riot Good Vibes Tee
Was: $34.00 | Is: $21.90
I mean, how fun is this tee? I can totally picture wearing this with jeans and cute tennies to the farmers market or Starbucks. Okay … maybe I should go order this one …
2. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
Was: $98.00 | Is: $64.90
For years, I’ve heard the virtues of Spanx Faux Leather Leggings, but had yet to try them myself. My new black pair should be here Thursday and I can’t wait to see how they look. I’m thinking paired with the BP v-neck below could be nice!
3. J.Crew Tipped Short Pajamas
Was: $85.00 | Is: $56.90
Pajama sets seem to be so in these days, and I can’t say I hate this trend. I got a couple pairs recently and wear them much more regularly than I expected myself to. These are a bit pricey but would make a great gift – it’s never too early to start planning for the holidays!
4. Vince Camuto Kentvi Sandal
Was: $149.95 | Is: $99.90
The Greystone Suede color in this shoe is such a perfect neutral “wear with everything” for fall. I own a similar pair from last year’s N Sale and practically lived in them. The chunky heel is surprisingly comfortable.
5. J.Crew Cluster Stone Drop Earrings
Was: $58.00 | Is: $37.90
I’m so thankful for the statement earring craze that’s in right now. Give me all the rhinestones in all the pretty colors. Okay, so I didn’t actually need these, but I do think it’s a great color combo and they weren’t too heavy – which is always important when picking a big earring.
6. Chelsea28 Ruffle Midi Dress
Was: $129.00 | Is: $89.90
I didn’t see this dress in store to try on, but I love the look of it – both the color and the style. Currently, there’s only size XL left, but as the sale goes on, there’s always a chance of a restock, so keep checking back if that’s not your size!
7. Halogen Paperbag Waist Ribbon Tie Mini Skirt
Was: $89.00 | Is: $59.90
Okay, real talk, this skirt simply looked ridiculous on me. One of my non-curvy friends – please try this adorable skirt on and tell us how cute it is!
8. BP Textured Stitch V-Neck Pullover
Was: $39.00 | Is: $25.90
There’s a reason this sweater has been cropping up all over your Instagram feed this week. It’s amazingly soft and pairs well with distressed jeans or leggings. I purchased the pink and my only regret is that I didn’t buy any other colors … yet … All the styling seems to go for an oversized look, so I’d say it runs true to size, but if you’re in between, go up.
9. Tory Burch Marsden Pebbled Leather Tote
Was: $528.00 | Is: $352.90
Well, if it wasn’t out of my price range post-surgery, I definitely would have walked out with this amazingly gorgeous beige tote. Such a good deal – this one pained me to leave behind. Such is life, I guess!
10. Kendra Scott Gilly Adjustable Bracelet
Was: $55.00 | Is: $35.90
There are a ton of great deals for the Kendra Scott lovers out there. I’ve just recently become a fan and this bracelet is unique yet simple enough to wear every day.
11. Adidas PureBoost DPR Running Shoe
Was: $140.00 | Is: $104.90
I was skeptical when I saw these online, but in person, the knit pattern actually looks pretty cool! I’m not sure I would run in them, but they’d make a great street sneaker to wear with jeans on a casual day.
12. Marc New York By Andrew Marc “Felix” Stand Collar Leather Jacket
Was: $450.00 | Is: $249.90
This was my one big splurge of the sale and it hasn’t even come in yet for me to try on. I’ve been wanting a leather jacket for years, but they never quite fit right. I’m hoping post-surgery, I’ll be able to find one that looks amazing.
13. Vince Camuto Smocked Neck Blouse
Was: $89.00 | Is: $58.90
Ah, the greatest disappointment of my shopping adventure. This blouse is freaking adorable on, unfortunately, I’m in between sizes. Wah!!! The red is so chic and classy and I love the look for fall / winter at work. Alas, hopefully it works for one of you!
14. Halogen Short Sleeve Ruffle Hem Dress
Was: $69.00 | Is: $45.90
This dress is so blah on the hanger – and even in some photographs – but is flirty and fun IRL. I mayyyyy have gotten two of these – one in the dark green / blue print, and one solid black. I could even see this with a denim jacket and riding boots in the fall! Oh – and runs big, so if in between, size down.
15. BP Ripped High Waist Skinny Jean
Was: $65.00 | Is: $42.90
I really didn’t need any denim this year, but I’ve been hearing amazing things on Instagram about these ripped jeans. And at $42, why not give them a try?! In the pictures I’ve seen, the whiskering is significant, but not tacky, which is always a plus!
16. Sam Edelman Tiana Pump
Was: $139.95 | Is: $89.90
I love Sam Edelman shoes so I was drawn to these nude leather pumps knowing my current pair (not the same brand) were getting pretty beat up. The gold studs and curved edges add that layer of attention to detail that makes a style worth spending a little more on.
17. BlankNYC Meant to Be Moto Jacket with Removable Hood
Was: $98.00 | Is: $64.90
Similar to the Free People top (below), this jacket makes me wish I were 10x cooler than I actually am so I could pull this look off! I tried this one on in store and the color is just as saturated in person and the hood isn’t too bulky. Plus, you can always remove it for a more dressed up look.
18. Free People Just The Two Of Us Floral Tunic
Was: $118.00 | Is: $78.90
Sometimes I wish I was a little more carefree when it comes to fashion. I adore the look of this top but can’t imagine wearing something that has crocheting right up the chest. I mean, what does one wear under that? Regardless, if you’ve got the guts to pull this off, it’s super cute!
19. Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater
Was: $69.00 | Is: $45.90
I ordered this cozy sweater in the teal surf color, but unfortunately the size I got was too big. I’d size down if you’re in between. I’ll be looking to try on the right size in store next week. Fingers crossed!
20. Panacea Double Drusy Necklace
Was: $58.00 | Is: $37.90
I’ve been very into drop necklaces these days – wearing my agate slice from Baliair Jewelry almost daily. This one has some fun gold fringe with two drusy stones and lots of little beads in between. These are perfect to dress up a simple v-neck tee shirt on an otherwise casual day!
21. Madewell Ruffle Gingham Shift
Was: $98.00 | Is: $64.90
Clearly, I have a thing for ruffles this season. I’m also totally digging gingham right now, so this dress definitely stood out. This would be another great design to transition from summer to fall with some boots and a jacket!
22. Kate Spade New York Oakwood Street – Malia Leather Crossbody Bag
Was: $248.00 | Is: $165.90
Infinitely more practical is this Kate Spade crossbody bag that’s simple and classy. Still, it was a want, not a need, so I had to walk away. Let me live vicariously through your shopping!
23. Bobeau Ruffled Plaid Shirt
Was: $64.00 | Is: $42.90
I love this mix of casual and feminine. The collarless v-neck is perfection, plus … drumroll, please … more ruffles! Unfortunately, this one didn’t look so great on me. Sad!
24. CeCe Pleat Sleeve Polka Dot Blouse
Was: $79.00
Is: $52.90
I was this close to buying this shirt, but at the very last minute worried that it’s so outside my typical style, I probably wouldn’t wear it very much. It fit so well though and is just adorable. This may be another one I go back for.
Okay, so what do you think? Any favs here? Anything I missed?
