Happy Monday, friends! I don’t know about you, but yesterday temps hit 50 in Chicago and I am ready for spring! Unfortunately, this season, I’m on a spending hiatus. With the upcoming surgery, I a. need to save money, and b. will need different sizes and styles for tops! It’s exciting, but I’m having major spring style shopping FOMO.
So, I decided to do my normal shopping and put together what I would love to buy if I could. And, maybe it will inspire your spring shopping list instead!
Today I’ll go through clothing – tops, bottoms, dresses. Tomorrow will be jewelry and shoes.
Claire’s Spring Style Shopping Wish List:
Spring Style Shopping Wish List: Tops
- Ruffle Henley Shell from LOFT – What’s not to love about sunny yellow and ruffles?
- Blush Ruffle Top from Nordstrom – This gorgeous long-sleeve shirt looks perfectly light for a chilly Chicago Spring.
- Flutter Sleeve Top from LOFT – Formal enough for the office, but casual enough for happy hour!
- Beige Cardigan from Lilly Pulitzer – This color would match everything.
- Striped Cami from LOFT – I can’t wait to wear cute tank tops post-surgery and this one would look so cute under my olive green jacket.
- V-Neck Tank Top from Nordstrom – This color is perfection. Would be great under a cardi at the office or with jeans bumming around on the weekends.
Spring Style Shopping Wish List: Bottoms
- Mid Rise Jean Leggings from Express – I normally wear dark wash jeans, but for spring, I think something a little lighter is fun! This style from Express are a great fit for my body.
- Lemon Shorts from Old Navy – How cute are these lemon shorts? I love the contrast detail of the button too.
- Scalloped Chambray Shorts from LOFT – These would match everything but are a little dressier than your standard jean shorts.
Spring Style Shopping Wish List: Dresses
- Turquoise Floral Wrap Dress from Target – Bright colors, floral, ruffles, and under $30? Yes, please.
- Floral Chambray Shirtdress from Draper James – My coworker found this adorable dress and I love how it kicks up the standard chambray shirtdress a notch.
- Pink and Blue Stripped Dress from Lilly Pulitzer – I love Lilly, but the prints are a bit much for city life in the Midwest. This would be so cute with white tennies and a jeans jacket.
